The Conference on Cultural Heritage and New Technologies (CHNT) has become a leading platform for professionals, researchers and institutions committed to the development of cultural heritage preservation through innovative technologies. Founded by Wolfgang Börner and initially organized by Stadtarchäologie Wien, CHNT has grown into a renowned international event, facilitating interdisciplinary exchange in the fields of cultural heritage documentation, research, management, and conservation. With the transition of CHNT to the Austrian ICOMOS National Committee, the conference is now supported by the Austrian Focal Point for World Heritage at the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, Public Service, and Sport. This marks a new era, expanding CHNT's focus to World Heritage research, management and protection, while continuing to explore leading-edge digital applications and technology solutions for cultural heritage. The conference took place from November 3 - 5, 2025, marking its 30th anniversary, with the theme “Shaping the Future of Cultural Heritage and Technology”.

Located at the Weltmuseum on November 4, 2025, these 2 FSRD lecturers delivered presentations,. On this occasion, Dr. Prima Dona Hapsari, M.Hum presented a collaborative research between TU Wien Austria and ISI Yogyakarta with the title “Introducing the Next Generation to World Heritage: An Interdisciplinary Approach to Cultural Heritage Education in Yogyakarta”. The presentation of the Cultural Collusion program that has been running for 3 years is related to the topic of the Yogyakarta Cosmological Axis, a six-kilometer long cultural landscape that represents cosmological concepts and Javanese spiritual order. This axis connects Mount Merapi in the north with the Indian Ocean in the south, and includes significant intangible and cultural heritage sites such as the Kraton Palace, Taman Sari, and associated sacred landmarks. Through dissemination programs in collaboration with heritage authorities and local schools in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Bambang Pramono, M.A., M.Sc presented the results of independent research with the title “The use of ChatGPT as A Tools for Wider Dissemination of Yogyakarta Cosmological Axis. An Approach for Pupils of Elementary”. The presentation is related to the utilization of AI, in this case chat GPT as a mode of dissemination related to the topic of the Yogyakarta philosophical axis for 5th and 6th grade elementary school children who are integrated in Coding and Artificial Intelligence lessons. Hopefully opportunities like this will become the spirit of the ISI Yogyakarta academic community.
