ISI Yogyakarta Dance student Sefina Triadinda Veronica wins Diajeng DIY 2025 and Bank Indonesia CBP Ambassador title

ISI Yogyakarta, October 27, 2025. Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta again made a proud achievement through one of its students. Sefina Triadinda Veronica, a student of the Dance Department, Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta class of 2023, won two prestigious awards at the regional and national levels. She was named Diajeng Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) 2025 as well as winning the title of 1st Champion Ambassador of Cinta Bangga Paham (CBP) Rupiah 2025 organized by Bank Indonesia.

Previously, Sefina had made a brilliant achievement by becoming the first winner of Diajeng Bantul 2025 on the final night which took place on September 11, 2025. This achievement led her to represent Bantul Regency in Dimas Diajeng DIY 2025, a prestigious competition attended by 15 pairs of finalists from five regencies/cities throughout Yogyakarta. In the event, Sefina made history as the first Diajeng DIY from Bantul Regency to win the highest title since the event was held.

During the quarantine and selection period, Sefina participated in various series of activities organized by the DIY Tourism Office, ranging from debriefing programs, workshops, to field trips to cultural tourism destinations. In the selection process, the finalists were assessed by the jury through various aspects, including mastery of Javanese language, public speaking skills, personality and psychology, cultural understanding, tourism insights, and artistic interests and talents.

In addition to her achievements in the field of culture, Sefina also showed her concern for socio-economic issues by winning 1st place in the CBP Rupiah 2025 Ambassador organized by Bank Indonesia. Through this event, Sefina played a role in spreading financial literacy education and fostering pride in the rupiah as a symbol of national sovereignty. This achievement emphasizes that ISI Yogyakarta students not only excel in the arts and academics, but also play an active role in national issues and community empowerment.

The Coordinator of the ISI Yogyakarta Dance Study Program, Dr. Rina Martiara, M.Hum., expressed her high appreciation for the achievements of her students.

"Sefina is a diligent, disciplined, and polite student. She always shows high dedication both in lectures and in the creative process. This achievement is an honor for us because it shows that ISI Yogyakarta dance students can excel comprehensively, not only in performing arts but also in self-development and leadership," he said.

Sefina's achievement is clear evidence that ISI Yogyakarta continues to produce talented young people who are able to contribute to society through art, culture and intellect. This success also strengthens ISI Yogyakarta's position as a national-class and globally competitive arts college, which always encourages its students to become creative, intellectual and characterful people.
