Movies "The Girl and the Laundry" produced in order to complete the assignment given by lecturers in the S1 Film and Television Study Program, Faculty of Recording Media Arts, ISI Yogyakarta. Students who are members of Sakha Selatan have not only successfully completed their filmmaking assignments, but produced films that have received many awards at the national and international levels. In making this film, students who are members of the Sakha Selatan group are supported by the Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta, EKRaf, and collaboration with Kemanten Danurejan Yogyakarta City, Melia Purosani, and Sarkem Cinematic Scoring. This work proves the capacity of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta students in presenting quality spectacles while expanding the creative industry network in the digital arena.
The presence of this film on the Vidio platform is not only proof that the work of ISI Yogyakarta students is able to compete in the realm of the film industry, but also an inspiration for the younger generation to continue working and telling stories from a local perspective to a global audience. Hopefully this achievement will continue to motivate ISI Yogyakarta students to work and achieve.
