ISI Yogyakarta and ISBI East Kalimantan Collaboration Performs at the 16th CUPT-CRISU International Forum 2025

ISI Yogyakarta and ISBI East Kalimantan collaborated to display artwork at the 16th Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT) - Council of Rectors of Indonesia State University (CRISU) international event in 2025 which was held on August 25-26, 2025 in the national capital. The forum that brings together leaders of state universities from Indonesia and Thailand is a strategic space to strengthen cooperation, cultural exchange, and academic diplomacy through art.

On this occasion, the collaboration between ISI Yogyakarta and ISBI East Kalimantan was presented as a representation of the richness of Indonesian art and culture. Through a cross-disciplinary performance that combines the artistic power of students and lecturers, this work succeeds in presenting nuances of beauty as well as a message of friendship between nations.

The Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn., said that ISI Yogyakarta's involvement in this international forum is a tangible form of the commitment of the oldest art campus in Indonesia in disseminating arts and culture to the global stage. "This collaboration not only strengthens the academic network, but also becomes a form of ISI Yogyakarta's real contribution as an Impact Campus, which brings art as a medium for dialogue between nations," he said.

ISI Yogyakarta's involvement with ISBI East Kalimantan in the 16th CUPT-CRISU emphasizes that art can be a bridge of cultural diplomacy and a means of building sustainable international academic collaborations.
