The Photography Department Student Association (HMJ), Faculty of Recording Media Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta, made a preparatory visit to Tugu Station Yogyakarta on Saturday, August 24, 2025. During the visit, the students met with Mr. Aziz, Head of Tugu Station Yogyakarta, to discuss the implementation of the "Jogja Where to Go" photography exhibition that will be held in the station area. The exhibition is designed as a space for creative expression and promotion for photography students, as well as a medium to present interesting visual works to the wider community.
In addition to meeting with the station authorities, students also conducted photo shoots around the station area as part of the exhibition preparation. Prior to the activity, all participants were briefed on accessible areas and safety protocols that must be followed.
This activity is a form of commitment of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta to contribute in introducing art while preserving local culture, as well as disseminating the science of recording media to the wider community through strategic public spaces such as Tugu Station.
Through this public exhibition initiative, ISI Yogyakarta realizes the Campus Impact program. The impact presented is not only in the form of increasing students' skills and experience in creating works, but also providing art appreciation space for the community, strengthening collaboration with strategic partners, and making art and culture part of the pulse of the city of Yogyakarta.
