LPPM ISI Yogyakarta Holds Monitoring and Evaluation of Art Counseling, a Realization of Campus Impacts

The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta carried out the following activities monitoring and evaluation of the Art Extension program at SMP Negeri 10 Yogyakarta on Monday, August 11, 2025. This activity was held as part of the commitment to realize ISI Yogyakarta as an Impact Campus.

This art counseling program was previously carried out on July 21, 2025, by sending Silvya Bintang Ayu Candradewi, S.Ds, M.Ds. one of the lecturers from the Product Design Study Program, FSRD ISI Yogyakarta who provided art counseling on "Drawing Digital Illustrations for Teachers and Employees". This activity is designed so that teachers and employees have the competence to draw digital illustrations so that they can attract students when delivering material or information and strengthen the real contribution of the largest art campus in Indonesia in community service.

In the session monitoring and evaluation, the LPPM ISI Yogyakarta team and the school discussed the achievements of the program, counseling participants, and plans to develop similar activities in the future. The evaluation results showed the high enthusiasm of students in participating in art practices, as well as their increased understanding of the material presented.

According to Agung Wicaksono, M.Sn. as Secretary of LPPM ISI Yogyakarta, art counseling is not only beneficial for SMP Negeri 10 Yogyakarta students, but also a learning medium for lecturers and students to implement art knowledge directly in the community. "This is the real form of Impactful Campus"It's a good thing when the knowledge developed on campus can provide benefits and positive changes to the surrounding environment," he said.

Through art counseling and its follow-up, LPPM ISI Yogyakarta shows its role in empowering the younger generation through art education that is creative, innovative, and relevant to the needs of society.
