FSRD ISI Yogyakarta Lecturer Receives Best Work Award at Mo Kha Lan 2025 International Symposium, Thailand

Lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD) ISI Yogyakarta, Lutse Lambert Daniel Morin participated in the Mo Kha Lan 2025 International Symposium, Thailand. More proudly, his work entitled Connection of the Earth Letters was awarded as the best work. With this achievement Lutse Lambert Daniel Morin was given the opportunity to attend an international symposium in China at the expense of the symposium committee.

The international symposium was organized by the Nakhon Si Thammarat College of Fine Arts, which is under the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Ministry of Culture of Thailand. The symposium took place from July 26 to 31, 2025, at the open space in front of the Central Nakhon Si Thammarat Shopping Centre, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Thailand.

The symposium was organized in an effort to provide a creative platform for art exchange between Thai and international artists, with the main focus on art making. The workshop and symposium emphasized the use of local materials from the Mokhalan community located in Tha Sala, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, as the main material in the creation of artworks.

The symposium included ceramic sculpture demonstrations, lectures and knowledge exchange sessions, an exhibition of works from the workshop, and the symposium. The symposium is designed to engage the younger generation, students, and the general public, and provide a valuable learning experience with artists from Thailand and abroad.

The symposium is an important platform to promote contemporary art, expand international collaboration, and inspire the next generation of artists. The event was attended by representatives from Thailand as the host, as well as other countries such as Malaysia, China, South Korea, Japan, Egypt, Turkey, the United States, Australia, and Indonesia represented by Lutse Lambert Daniel Morin.
