The ISI Yogyakarta Student Choir (PSM) known as the Vocalista Harmonic Choir (VHC) held a Pre-Competition Concert entitled Jayasri Saraswati on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the ISI Yogyakarta Concert Hall. The concert is a preparation for the 4th Asia Choral Grand Prix Singapore competition in 2025. The concert started at 18.00 WIB and was divided into 2 sessions. At the beginning of the session they sang several compositions including, Om Awighnam, Haya!, Or Si Rallegri, Ergebung, Stabat Mater, Dies Irae. In the next session VHC performed compositions with Nusantara nuances. Tardigadingdangdo, Malam Bainai, Gambang Suling, Anging Mamiri, Benggong were sung with Epic!. The Fire Dance of Luna by Darius Lim as a treat encore their appearance.

This concert is titled Jayastri Saraswati. Jayasri means brilliant victory and Saraswati is the Goddess of Knowledge. Both are meant as prayers and wishes. "Along with VHC's 16th anniversary, hopefully the team can perform optimally and give their best." Said Gathut Bintarto as the VHC coach. In his speech, Gathut also thanked all those who took part in this process. Both from the VHC, ISI Yogyakarta campus support, donors and media partners.

The VHC delegation to Singapore was led by Gathut. He brought a team of 13 Sopranos, 8 Alto, 8 Tenors, and 10 Basses, along with Athitya Monica as a feeler. 4th The 2025 Asia Choral Grand Prix will be held on July 24, 2025. The event also includes the 9th Singapore International Choral Festival which will take place from July 23 to 27, 2025. As Indonesia's representative, VHC will fight with 3 other contestants. There are the Philippines, Malaysia and the host Singapore. The four countries are the selected and best contestants from prestigious competitions that have been followed before.
