To commemorate the 41st Anniversary of Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta, Steinway & Sons and House of Piano present internationally renowned pianist Miyuji Kaneko for a series of exclusive musical events in Yogyakarta at the end of June 2025. The first activity, a talk show entitled "Beyond the Keys: An Afternoon" which will be held at 16.00-17.30 WIB at the Concert Hall ISI Yogyakarta. The talk show will delve deeper into Miyuji Kaneko's musical journey and philosophy as an international musician.
In the evening, visitors will be presented with a special piano concert by Miyuji Kaneko which takes place at 19.00-20.30 WIB at the same location. This concert is an important moment for ISI Yogyakarta, because it will feature piano playing on two new units of Steinway grand piano model C. The show is even more special because it will feature a special duet collaboration between Miyuji Kaneko and one of ISI Yogyakarta's Music Presentation Lecturers Dr.Sn. Asep Hidayat, as well as a special guest appearance from Elnino Mevlana Ibrahim, winner of the Steinway Indonesia Youth Piano Competition 2025. The activity will be closed with Piano Masterclass Yogyakarta on June 29-30, 2025 which is again held at the Concert Hall ISI Yogyakarta as part of the dedication to music education.
