Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. received a delegation from Tokyo University of the Arts and Zurich University of the Arts on February 25, 2026, in Meeting Room 1 ISI Yogyakarta. On this occasion the Rector was accompanied by the Head of ISI Yogyakarta and the Head of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. The delegation from Tokyo University of the Arts consisted of Katsuhiko Hibino (President), Yusaku Imamura (Vice President), Ryusuke Kido (Project Associate Professor) and Ryota Kikuchi (Project Lecturer). Zurich University of the Arts delegation consisted of Daniel Späti (Chair Shared Campus Management Team) and Nuria Krämer (Program Manager SC Management Team).
At the beginning of the event, the three university leaders introduced their respective university profiles. The event continued with a discussion of potential cooperation carried out by universities. From the discussion, it was found that the three universities agreed to cooperate regarding the implementation of student exchange for postgraduate and doctoral students. From the cooperation of student exchange implementation, it is expected that it will develop into various collaborations.
After the visit of Tokyo University of the Arts and Zurich University, it is hoped that the cooperation plan will soon be realized so that ISI Yogyakarta's target to become a world-class art college can be realized.
