Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. opened the Swara Saraswati II Festival, on February 12, 2025 at the Concert Hall ISI Yogyakarta, at 18.00 WIB until completion. This ceremonial opening marks the start of the Swara Saraswati II Festival which will be held from February 12 to 16, 2025. The opening of the Swara Saraswati II Festival was attended by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, the Head of the Faculty of Performing Arts, the Jury and festival participants.
Swara Saraswati II Festival is a choir, solo vocal and composition/arrangement competition organized by Vocalista Harmonic Student Choir (PSM). This competition is open and participated by various choir groups from all over the country. Choir, solo vocal and composition/arrangement competitions are organized based on general categories.
In his remarks the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta congratulated the Vocalista Harmonic Student Voice Guide (PSM) for organizing the national level choir, solo vocal and composition / arrangement competition. The organization of the competition at the national level is an extraordinary achievement. ISI Yogyakarta will continue to support the organization of events that further introduce the reputation of ISI Yogyakarta to the public.
By organizing the Swara Saraswati II Festival, it is expected to further introduce ISI Yogyakarta as an art college to the public. With this effort, it is expected to encourage public interest to register their sons / daughters to become ISI Yogyakarta students.
