ISI Yogyakarta signed cooperation documents with two South Korean universities on November 5 to 6, 2024, in Seoul, South Korea. On November 5, ISI Yogyakarta signed a cooperation document with Sungkyun Kwan University and November 6, 2024 signed with Seoul National University. The signing of this document marks the development of academic and educational cooperation on the basis of equality and mutual benefits so as to enhance the relationship of mutual understanding between the two universities.
The signing of the cooperation document will overshadow the various collaborations carried out by ISI Yogyakarta with Sungkyun Kwan University and Seoul National University. Cooperation that will be carried out with two universities from South Korea include:
- Exchange of academic and administrative personnel and students.
- Research collaboration and presentation of results.
- Exchange of academic materials, publications and other scientific information.
- Collaboration and exchange of resources and staff in library and other support services.
- Other educational and academic exchanges approved by both universities.
According to Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, the visit of the ISI Yogyakarta delegation to South Korea to discuss the potential for cooperation with Korean universities with Atdikbud Seoul and the signing of ISI Yogyakarta cooperation documents with two universities in South Korea. This effort is made so that ISI Yogyakarta increasingly has cooperation partners with international reputation.
