One of the advantages of DKV Study Program, Faculty of Fine Arts, ISI Yogyakarta is the strength in designing Illustration works. It is different from other DKV study programs. DKV Study Program ISI Yogyakarta was born from the womb of the oldest fine arts education in Indonesia, namely ASRI. So that the aura and atmosphere of the design of design works cannot be separated from the atmosphere of fine art. Even with illustration works that are mandatory abilities in the DKV Study Program.
The meeting with Florto Studio was held at the Florto Studio office at Gg. Belibis No.5, Peguyangan, North Denpasar sub-district, Denpasar city, Bali, on July 11, 2024 at 13.00-16.00 WITA. The activity was attended by Florto Art Director, Monez and also by the Florto studio management team. While from DKV, FSR, ISI Yogyakarta was attended by Daru Tunggul Aji, as the caprodi as well as the taskfore team, Lily Elserisa and also Alit Ayu Dewantari.
Entering the independent curriculum at the end of 2020, DKV Study Program tries to be responsive to the rules in organizing education, including in implementing out-of-class learning programs. The availability of partners in out-of-class learning is important to continue to be improved. This year, early 2024. DKV Study Program was declared to have received a PKKM grant (Merdeka Campus Competition Program), this is an opportunity and momentum to improve the activity program which is expected to be a quality leap in the future. One of them is through a partnership development program. The four regions formulated by the DKV study program (Jabodetabek Regional, Central Java Regional, West Java, East Java, DIY Regional, Outer Java Regional) these four regions are the result of formulation in partnership mapping. This is based on data on the distribution of student origins owned by DKV study programs for the last 3 years and also based on industry distribution.
For region 4 (Outside Java) DKV Study Program has explored cooperation with Florto Studio. Florto Studio is an illustration and graphic design studio located in Denpasar, Bali. And on July 11-12, the DKV study program delegation visited Florto Studio to discuss cooperation in the form of student internships. And from the results of the meeting, an agreement was obtained in organizing an internship under the umbrella of PKKM. There are 2 students who will intern at Florto Studio for four months, from August to November. The two students are Vania Rahma Dhiyanti, Putu Dipa Dharma Nandika.
