Not many industries have a selection process with high quality standards and a curriculum for internship students. And one of the companies that has a curriculum for internship students is RWE BHINDA. RWE BHINDA is an advertising and marketing company based on digital media.
On Monday (29/07/24), the Visual Communication Design Study Program, Faculty of Fine Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta has established synergy and collaboration with PT RWE BHINDA Yogyakarta. The signing of this collaboration was carried out by the Head of DKV ISI Yogyakarta, Daru Tunggu Aji, S.S., M.A. and Director of PT RWE BHINDA M. Hafidullah at the RWE BHINDA office, Sleman, Yogyakarta.
The collaboration is in the context of implementing the Merdeka Learning Internship Program (MBKM) under the Merdeka Campus Competition Program (PKKM) organized by the Ministry of Education Culture Research and Technology in 2024.
Previously, DKV Study Program had carried out a mechanism in organizing out-of-class learning, starting with socialization, registration, to the internal selection process. The results of this internal selection were then submitted to RWE BHINDA to undergo a test which became the quality standard in recruiting internship students. The tests are in the form of interviews, presentations and psychological tests to see the extent of academic capital, insight, internship projections, and student personality.
In the interview organized by RWE Bhinda, students can also choose and will be placed in several diverse entities or divisions, but still according to the interests and abilities that have been submitted in the student portfolio during the selection process.
Going forward, students will participate in a series of intensive internship programs and learn about visual communication skills, personality, and professional ethics. RWE BHINDA is also open to running a joint curriculum with DKV Study Program during this internship program. This aims to maintain the quality and relevance as well as the outcomes of student courses.
