Polar Engine is one of the studios that DKV students regularly visit when undergoing Professional Orientation Studies. Located in Jakarta and Yogyakarta, Polar Engine is a studio that focuses, among others, on illustrations for games and the entertainment industry.

This is in line with the outcomes and profiles of DKV graduates who are expected to always be responsive to the development of the visual industry. Moreover, the illustration sector is one of the sectors that is the niche of the Visual Communication Design Study Program. Learning outside the classroom is needed so that students can be truly adaptive to market needs, through internship partners students can learn how the world of work by not forgetting the mandatory achievements in the classroom. This means that in out-of-class learning, in addition to gaining experience in the industrial world, students will always be related to learning outcomes in class. The role of the supervisor's function is very decisive in this regard. Student interest in interning at Polar Engine is quite high, it's just that the quota provided by the partner is only one, so between study programs and partners have conducted a joint selection to select one student who will study at Polar Engine for the next 1 semester (August-November).

The students who qualify for the out-of-class learning program (read: internship) are Rafi Gesit Ariq Rifki who will start his internship as of August 2024.
