Cheng Shiu University, Taiwan and Missao Corporation, Japan conducted a process of exploring cooperation with ISI Yogyakarta. This exploration of cooperation was carried out by visiting ISI Yogyakarta on April 21, 2024. (Head of the Art Conservation Study Program) and Silvia Anggraeni Purba, S.Sn., M.Sn. (Head of International Affairs Unit) at Sasana Aji Yasa Building, at 09.00 until completion. Li, I-Cheng (The director of Conservation Center, Cheng Shiu University), Mr. Li, Lung-Yu (The vice-director of the Office of International Affairs, Cheng Shiu University), Ms. Lu, Chien-Hua (Conservator, Cheng Shiu University), Ms. Chang, Ching-Min (Administrative Assistant, Cheng Shiu University) and Mr. Yasuyuki Korekawa (President, Missao Corporation).
The reception of the Cheng Shiu University and Missao Corporation delegation began with remarks from Muhamad Sholahuddin, S.T., M.T. as the Dean of FSR ISI Yogyakarta. In his speech, Muhamad Sholahuddin, S.T., M.T. conveyed the profile of FSR ISI Yogyakarta and introduced the invited guests who were present to welcome the delegation from Cheng Shiu University and Missao Corporation. The event continued with remarks from Mr. Cheng, Shuenn-Ren as The vice-president and the director of the Office of International Affairs, Cheng Shiu University) who conveyed the profile of Cheng Shiu University and its aim to establish cooperation with ISI Yogyakarta. During the discussion, Prima Dona Hapsari, S.Pd., M.Hum from the Art Conservation Study Program, asked about potential collaborations that might be carried out with the Art Conservation Study Program. "Can this collaboration start next semester with the concept of holding joint lectures or online public lectures," said Dr. Mikke Susanto, M.A., as the Head of the Art Management Department. Both questions were responded by Mr. Cheng, Shuenn-Ren as The vice-president and the director of the Office of International Affairs, Cheng Shiu University with the need for ISI Yogyakarta and Cheng Shiu University to arrange an MoU so that various collaborations can be realized. Muhamad Sholahuddin, S.T., M.T. said that ISI Yogyakarta will immediately draft an MoU so that the collaboration between the two universities can be realized.
