The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) ISI Yogyakarta in collaboration with PT Kairos held an Audio Engineering workshop on March 25-26, 2024, in the Audio Visual Room, FSMR ISI Yogyakarta. This workshop presented guest speaker Chen Jinfu, Professional Audio Manager from Audio-Technica South East Asia. Chen Jinfu is an audio professional who completed his education at Singapore Management University. He has more than 20 years of experience in the field of audio and will share his experience with the participants.
The Audio Engineering Workshop is organized for two days and has two different themes of interesting material. The materials that will be presented on the first day are Recording 101- Basic Microphone Technique, while the material on the second day is Comercial Audio for Workspace. In this activity, participants can also see experience display products from PT Kairos Multi Jaya with main products from Audio-Technica, as well as other industry standard products such as Allen&Heath, Mackie, SilverCrest and RCF.
The workshop was attended by students, lecturers of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta and professionals in the field of Audio. The workshop participants were very enthusiastic about receiving the material presented by the speakers. This Audio Engineering Workshop is a form of collaboration between the Film and Television Production Study Program, Faculty of Recording Media Arts (PFT FSMR), Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta with PT Kairos Multi Jaya which is a partner from the industrial world.
