ISI Yogyakarta's Pride Voice Guide, Vocalista Harmonic Choir again achieved at the international level. ISI Yogyakarta's Vocalista Harmonic Choir managed to get several achievements at the International Bandung Choral Festival 2023 which was held on November 8 to 11, 2023. In this competency, Vocalista Harmonic Choir managed to obtain achievements as Champion Musica Sacra, Champion Mixed Choir, Champion Folksong and Grand Prix Winner Choir Competition.
The International Bandung Choral Festival which was held in 2023 became the 3rd year of the event. The International Bandung Choral Festival is participated by choirs from within and outside the country and presents judges from abroad. The judges presented to conduct the assessment include Susanna Saw (Malaysia), Pearl Shangkuan (United States), Mark Anthony Carpio (Philippines), Kittiporn Tantrarungroj (Thailand), Hee Churl Kim (South Korea), Zechariah Goh (Singapore), Daud Kasasih (Indonesia) and Catharina Leimena (Indonesia). The International Bandung Choral Festival was also enlivened with choir clinic, choral workshop and concert activities.
The achievements obtained by the Vocalista Harmonic Choir at the International Bandung Choral Festival 2023 further add to the number of achievements of this proud choir of ISI Yogyakarta. After the 2022 achievement at the 2022 Busan Choral Festival & Competition, this year the Vocalista Harmonic Choir was able to excel at the 2023 International Bandung Choral Festival. The achievements obtained by the Vocalista Harmonic Choir can inspire student activity units or students to excel.
