Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. Drs. Timbul Raharjo, M.Hum. became one of the speakers at a public discussion with the theme Building an Art and Culture Ecosystem in the Archipelago's Capital City on August 3, 2023, at Taman Ismail Marjuki, Jakarta. Prof. Dr. Drs. Timbul Raharjo, M.Hum. appeared with other speakers such as Jaya Suprana, Addie MS, Hartati, Zainal Dharma Abidin, Riri Riza, Maudy Koesnaedi, Ananda Sukarlan, Nuya Susantono and Kadri Mohammad. Appearing as the keynotes speaker in this public discussion, Dr. Indah Tjahjawulan, M.Sn.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Drs. Timbul Raharjo, M.Hum. delivered a presentation entitled "Building an Art and Culture Ecosystem in the Capital City of the Archipelago". In his presentation, he conveyed several ideas and ideas as an artist as well as an academic on how to build an art and cultural ecosystem in the capital city of the archipelago. The art and cultural ecosystem in the new capital city must be able to reflect Indonesian art and culture to the international community.
This public discussion was organized in collaboration with the Jakarta Institute of Arts and the Nusantara Capital Authority. In the future, the Nusantara Capital Authority will continue to seek ideas to develop the capital city based on arts and culture.
