Assistant Rector I, ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. St. Hanggar Budi Prasetya, S.Sn., M.Si. released students who will be interning in the industry from the Photography Study Program, Faculty of Recording Media Arts, ISI Yogyakarta on September 13, 2022. A total of 10 students will intern at Mata Fotografi Indonesia Magazine for one semester. This release was held in conjunction with the organization of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Magazine Management organized by the Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta in collaboration with CV. Sportax Advertising Jaya Mandiri at Hotel KJ Yogyakarta. This internship is important for students because it will provide real experience about the world of work.
Photography Study Program students who intern at Mata Fotografi Indonesia magazine will learn how to practice media management, especially magazines. Students will gain experience in writing news, articles, journalistic photography and magazine layout. They will gain various new competencies during their internship at Mata Fotografi Indonesia magazine.
This work internship is one form of implementation of the Merdeka Learning-Campus Program at the Faculty of Media Arts, ISI Yogyakarta. Work internships will provide an overview of the realities in the world of work and the competency needs that students must have. After participating in this internship, students can develop their own competencies according to the needs of the world of work.
Photography Study Program students who participated in internships at Mata Fotografi Indonesia magazine included Anisa Suryani Yahya, Farrel Agung Pratama, Putri Nur Indah Sari, Mas Alain Jaka Tirta Kencana, Ahmad Fathurrizqi As-Sirry, Siti Hardianti Rukmini, Kalila Tabina Dhia Azzahra, Reynaldi Bagaskara, Danang Firnanda Putra and Muhammad Nurjati.
In his remarks, the Assistant Rector of ISI Yogyakarta Dr. St. Hanggar Budi Prasetya, S.Sn., M.Si., encouraged students to take advantage of this internship opportunity optimally. The seriousness of students in participating in this internship program can affect the quality of future competencies. He further said that hopefully the presence of student interns can encourage the improvement of the quality of Mata Fotografi Indonesia magazine.
