The Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan M.Hum., opened an exhibition titled "Convergence - Post Traditionalism" on August 12, 2022 at Geleri R.J. Katamsi, ISI Yogyakarta. The exhibition will be held from August 12 to September 12, 2022. In one month the public can enjoy various works of fine art, recording media art and NFT from renowned artists in the country at the R.J. Katamsi Gallery, ISI Yogyakarta.
The exhibition "Convergence - Post Traditionalism" was organized to commemorate the 125th anniversary of R.J. Katamsi and 72 years of art education in the country. The exhibition features works by 58 artists and 6 art collectives. The works featured in this exhibition were curated by Suwarno Wisetroromo, Asmujo Jono Irianto, and Rain Rosidi. The exhibition not only showcases the works of the artists but also provides various programs such as gallery tour, curatorial tour, performance art, artist talk and public lecture.
The exhibition "Convergence - Post Traditionalism" is a collaboration between Galeri R.J. Katamasi ISI Yogyakarta and Srisasantisyndicate. This exhibition is open to the public. People who wish to visit the exhibition can register via bit.ly/reservation-convergence.
