The Photography Study Program of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta with many partners is organizing an international photography exhibition with the theme "Bara - Api". The international photography exhibition with the theme "Bara-Api" will be held from July 23 to August 23, 2022 at the H. Widayat Museum, Mungkid, Magelang, Central Java. The exhibition is attended by 222 photographers from 22 countries. The international photography exhibition is planned to be opened by the Governor of Central Java, Mr. Ganjar Pranowo on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 10.00 WIB until completion.
This exhibition will feature photographs with Borobudur Temple and Mount Merapi as the main objects. Borobudur Temple and Mount Merapi, which are tourist destinations in Central Java and Yogyakarta, will be framed in photography. Through these photographic works, it is expected to be able to present Borobudur Temple and Mount Merapi not only from the tourism angle, but also from social, cultural and aesthetic angles.
This exhibition is open to the general public. Members of the public who wish to enjoy the works of national and international photographers can visit the H. Widayat Museum in Mungkid, Magelang, Central Java.
