ISI Yogyakarta will hold a national seminar with the theme "The Excellence of Art in Life Recovery" on Monday, July 25, 2022 and starts at 09.00 to 12.00 WIB. This seminar will be held online using the Zoom Meeting application. in this seminar will be presented Handoko Hendroyono, Dr. Suastiwi, M.Des., and Ayu Utami as speakers. The online seminar will also feature H. Erick Thohir, B.A., M.B.A. as the keynote speaker. The seminar will be more interesting because it will be hosted by Dr. Suwarno Wisetrotomo, M.Hum.,
The pandemic has given a dark experience to art events, even to life as a whole. Cancellation of performances, closure of galleries, museums, and failure of exhibitions and art fairs have occurred. This condition certainly requires art actors to find a way out for the sustainability of creative production. However, in this global climate, art must also contribute to life. The national seminar with the theme "The Excellence of Art in Restoring Life" will try to describe the creative process of artists and artists' efforts to be able to exist in the midst of a pandemic.
