ISI Yogyakarta will present 5 international jazz musicians at Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022. Jazz Camp 2022, will be held at the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta, on July 13 to 17, 2022. International Jazz Musicians who will be present at this Jazz Camp include Nita Aartsen from Indonesia, Rubem Farias from Brazil/Sweden, Kuba Skowroński from Poland, Lautaro Quevedo from Chile and Pablo Calzado from Cuba. These musicians will play, learn together, and share their experiences on how to play jazz with the participants of Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022.
Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022 is the second event organized at ISI Yogyakarta. In 2021 ISI Yogyakarta will also host this international event. Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022 contains master class activities, private sessions and closed with a jazz concert that will involve international jazz musicians and Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022 participants. Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022 provides opportunities for lecturers, students and the jazz-loving public to learn to play jazz from international musicians.
Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022 is a collaboration between the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta and the Jogja International Jazz Camp 2022 Committee. As in previous years, this activity was attended by students, students and the general public who were interested in Jazz music. Through this activity, it is expected to be able to further socialize jazz music to the community and provide competence in playing jazz music to Jazz Camp participants.
