Students of the 2019 Dance Department, Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta won first place in the dance competition "Traditional Contemporary Dance Competition Hospitour" organized by Pelita Harapan University. This dance competency was held on June 8, 2022 online and the competency announcement was held on June 9, 2022. By winning this competition, students of the Department of Dance Class of 2019 are entitled to receive prizes and coaching money.
In this traditional dance competency, the 2019 Dance Department students consisting of Cornelia Rindita Nicky Arindra, Dwi Rahmadani, Vilia Angelica, Heni Qodam Nurani and Elvein Anderson joined the Jumena group. By performing a traditional dance entitled "Naban" this group managed to get the highest score and was entitled to be the champion.
The dance competition "Traditional Contemporary Dance Competition Hospitour" organized by Universitas Pelita Harapan is held online and open to the general public. The 2019 Dance Department students succeeded in beating other competitors from the general public. Hopefully this achievement can motivate other ISI Yogyakarta students to continue to excel.
