This exhibition is a series of activities organized in enlivening the 38th Anniversary of ISI Yogyakarta with the big theme "Art Excellence for Life Recovery". This anniversary is both special and challenging at a time when the pandemic is starting to subside and life is starting to stretch normally. Entering this new era, art is expected to have a role in providing support, empowerment, and accelerating the recovery process. Art can be a creative medium to take part in solving community problems. On a small scale, art can be an entertainer and encourager in this rapidly moving and changing life. The interaction that occurs in the arts allows people to share with each other and have stronger bonds and solidarity in facing future challenges.
Through this Anniversary, ISI Yogyakarta continues to invite and encourage people from various circles, art activists, and artists in an effort to create and work by utilizing technology that is available and friendly to use. By collaborating with partners from within and outside the country, this exhibition features the work of the ISI Yogyakarta academic community totaling approximately 161 works., 23 works from other higher education partners, and 60 works from overseas partners.
Hopefully, this cast can inspire that art is one of the means for life recovery. Art is able to restore the life of mankind as it was before the pandemic.
