The S-1 Art Management Study Program of FSR ISI Yogyakarta in May held the Final Semester exam of the course "Exhibition Management Review I", for its students. Students who have taken this course have prepared themselves to hold a series of their first exhibitions. One of the exhibitions that will be held is the Fine Art Exhibition with the theme "Kabar Bumi Half Windu". The exhibition will be held from May 12 to 14, 2022 at Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta.
The opening of the exhibition will be held on May 12, 2022 by Dr. Suwarno Wisetrotomo, M.Hum., at 16.00 WIB until completion and located at Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta. This art exhibition involves two curators namely Luna Chantiaya and Gisela Kiara. In this exhibition, there will also be a Curator Talk on May 13, 2022 offline at Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta, at 19.00 WIB until completion.
The Fine Art Exhibition "Kabar Bumi Half Windu" features artists: Diah Yulianti, Kurt Hoesli, Alif Edi Irawan, Muhammad Fauzan, Denny Syaiful Anwar, Ilham Karim, Rifkki Arrofik, and Muhammad Shodiq. Through the representation of 15 paintings and 2 installations the idea of changes in nature and human culture is presented by the artists.
This exhibition is expected to reflect human life with other creatures. Therefore, the exhibition, which is part of Earth Day, does not only talk about the environment and the earth itself, but also its contents. Earth is only one and must be preserved and saved.
This art exhibition is the result of collaboration between the S-1 Art Management Study Program of FSR ISI Yogyakarta with Kompas Gramedia and Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta.
