Galeri R.J. Katamsi ISI Yogyakarta, Art Pop UP, Sewon NFT Club and other partners are working together to organize Indo NFT Festiverse. This NFT festival is planned to be held from 9 to 17 April 2022 at the R.J. Katamsi Gallery, Jalan Parangtritis Km 6.5 Yogyakarta. This NFT Festival will combine the concept of online and offline exhibitions. ISI Yogyakarta's R.J. Katamsi Gallery will be open from 10:00 to 20:00 WIB every day to provide opportunities for the public to access the exhibition. The exhibition will feature works from 238 artists and will include discussions and auctions of the works on display.
Indo NFT Festiverse is Indonesia's first NFT festival that combines online and real-life experiences for NFT creators, collectors, activists and the general public. We provide a time and space to share knowledge, experiences, and ideas related to NFTs. Through this festival, the festival committee is able to simulate the world of NFTs in real life, Festiverse's main focus is to appreciate technology that intersects and allies with the art world.
NFTs are new to Indonesian artists and society, raising many questions such as about blockchain, traded art objects, and debates about the safety of artworks. Therefore, the exhibition initiated by UPT Galery RJ. Katamsi, Sewon NFT Club, Art-Popup and other partners may become a variety of forms of knowledge exchange, collaboration, and education as well as an opportunity and at the same time a challenge for creators in the art world and an entry point for digital activities. Hopefully the interaction and cooperation created from this activity will be sustainable and continue to create new agendas in the practice of digital world creation.
