The Photography Study Program, Faculty of Record Media, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta and partners present Darwis Triadi as a Guest Lecturer in the Mata Guest Lecturer Program on Monday, February 21, 2022, at 19.00 WIB until completion. Darwis Triadi is a homeland photography maestro who started his profession by himself in 1979. His reputation in the world of photography is no doubt. This public lecture will be hosted by Pongky Adhi Purnama, BFA, M.Sn (Head of Photography Study Program of Trisakti University).
On this occasion, the theme was "Photographic Thought in the Development of Digital Cameras". Photographic technology continues to develop and become more sophisticated. The development of digital cameras is evidence of the development of photographic technology. The development of photographic technology will not have much meaning without a valid understanding of light. No matter how advanced the photography equipment is, an understanding of light is the most important skill for a photographer or hobbyist who wants to seriously pursue photography. On this occasion, Darwis Triadi will discuss about lighting techniques and how to improvise with light so that the composition of the photo becomes cool.
