ISI Yogyakarta Library Reaches A Accreditation

UPT Library ISI Yogyakarta has succeeded in achieving an "A" accreditation grade, in the reaccreditation process carried out by the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia at the end of 2021. Information on the results of this accreditation was obtained after the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta received an accreditation certificate with Number: 00337/LAP.PT/XII.2021 signed by the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia Mr. Muhammad Syarif Bando. The accreditation certificate which obtained an A accreditation score is valid from December 9, 2021 to December 9, 2026.

The accreditation process this time was carried out online due to considerations of the pandemic not being fully completed. Accreditation documents in printed and softfile formats were sent to the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia and then a review of the documents was carried out. The review process continued with an online visitation on December 4, 2021. after the online review and visitation process, an accreditation score of "A" was obtained. With the acquisition of the A Accreditation score, the ISI Yogyakarta Library Unit again succeeded in maintaining the A grade as it had obtained in the previous two accreditation processes.

The "A" accreditation is the result of an assessment of 6 components conducted by the Assessor Team from the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia consisting of Drs. Supriyanto, M.Si., Drs Tisyo Hariono, M.L.S. and Budi Kurniawan. The components assessed include the collection component with a value of 19.38, the facilities and infrastructure component with a value of 14.82, the library service component with a value of 23.95, the library staff component with a value of 18.67, the organizing and management component with a value of 13.75 and the performance strengthening component with a value of 4.67. The various results of the assessment when summed up to 95.23 so that the ISI Yogyakarta Library obtained an "A" accreditation score.

With the "A" accreditation value, it is hoped that the ISI Yogyakarta Library can maintain and at the same time improve the quality of services provided. Hopefully the results of this accreditation will further motivate the ISI Yogyakarta Library to continue to excel.
