The Bachelor of Music Education Study Program, Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta held a Colloquium on Music Education in a Political Perspective on Thursday, November 18, 2021, 13.00 - 15.00 WIB. This colloquium will try to describe how politics influences and gives color to the practice of music education.
This colloquium will be held online using the Zoom link and broadcast live through the Youtube Channel of Music Education ISI Yogyakarta. The format of organizing the colloquium online was chosen because it considers the factor that the pandemic period has not yet ended. By organizing online, it will minimize direct interaction so as to reduce the potential for transmission of the Covid-19 virus.
This colloquium will present two speakers who are experts in the field of music, namely Prof. Dr. Djohan Salim, M.Si. (Lecturer at ISI Yogyakarta) and Dr. G. R. Lono Simatupang, M.A. (Lecturer at Gadjah Mada University). This colloquium will be hosted by one of the lecturers of the S-1 Music Education Study Program, FSP ISI Yogyakarta, Ayub Prasetyo, M.Sn.
