The background of the launch of the Indonesian Student Micro Credentials (KMMI) program by the Directorate of Belmawa, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture aims to accelerate and support the achievement of the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program and prepare students through learning that represents the trending industrial world. The goal of the KMMI program is to produce graduates who are ready to compete in the midst of increasingly complex world challenges and deliver Indonesia to become the Golden Indonesia in 2045.
In accordance with the objectives of the 2021 KMMI program, namely to prepare students through learning that presents the industrial world, ISI Yogyakarta proposes ten courses. Of the ten courses, three courses passed: (1)Â Virtual Performing Arts, (2) Performing Arts Organizer, and (3) Digitalpreneur. on Content Business.
Urgency of the course Virtual Performing Arts is an adaptation of the Covid-19 pandemic situation that has been ongoing since March 2020. Keeping distance and at home alone requires all activities to be carried out online or connected to the internet. So 'virtual performing art' or virtual art performances were chosen as the main medium of expression for artists in the midst of the ongoing epidemic. Training/course Virtual Performing Art provides basic knowledge and skills in designing and performing virtual artworks, which will be delivered by lecturers from the Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta in collaboration with practitioners outside the campus, namely the Business and Industrial World (DUDI).
Course performing arts organizer provides a concept and implementation of arithmetic fuzzy logic in the form of knowledge, analysis, and skills to students related to performance-based art. spirit of collaboration. Arithmetic fuzzy logic is a concept of thinking based on values, responsibility, and ethics with the principle of mapping a space. input or parts in an integrated manner so as to create output or a form of quality performance through human resources with technology. The knowledge gained by each participant is expected to be able to equip students in designing, organizing, and 'selling' a performing arts product that is relevant to market needs and applying the performing arts paradigm so as to provide quality human resources and products. performing arts which is good. The material in performing arts organizer, which is divided into four major themes, is delivered by teachers who are competent and experts in their fields and have a lot of experience in the field of managing and organizing performing arts. Another thing that is different from other courses in the field of performing arts is the organizer is that the course "tries to elaborate the values of local genius art-based science" in every material delivered to participants.
Course Digitalpreneur The Content Business course provides an entrepreneurial perspective for students with the main competence in the field of recording media arts and other competencies, especially for students who have an interest in managing digital content businesses. Through this course, students are expected to be able to utilize their expertise in film, video, photography, and animation as content business opportunities in the internet-based digital media ecosystem, be able to utilize various digital platforms as content distribution media that bring economic impact, be able to create and manage digital content both creatively and as a business, have persuasive communication skills and be able to develop themselves as individuals and teams in the world of the digital content industry.
According to the organizing coordinator of KMMI ISI Yogyakarta, Ika Yulianti, S.ST., M.Sn. there were 394 participants who attended the course. The number of participants consisted of 309 ISI Yogyakarta students and 85 students from outside ISI Yogyakarta. Participants from other universities came from 45 universities. This information was obtained from a report submitted by Ika Yulianti, S.ST., M.Sn during the opening ceremony of KMMI 2021 ISI Yogyakarta, Monday, August 9, 2021. KMMI ISI Yogyakarta was officially opened by Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum. as the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta.
