ISI Yogyakarta Animation Study Program students, Corina Pepayosa Ginting and Naufal Afif Alfarug Passed the National Selection for the 2021 Student Digital Innovation Competition (LIDM). The two students who are members of the Denurta Team have successfully passed the national selection for the digital poster category in the 2021 LIDM organized by the National Achievement Center, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. Information regarding this achievement was obtained from a letter sent by the National Achievement Center to the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta dated July 14, 2021.
Team Denurta will compete with 19 other teams to be the best. In this competition, Team Denurta submitted a digital poster entitled "Without Priority Carriages". This digital poster is motivated by concerns about gender stigma in the world of education in the country. Like one of Indonesia's public transportation, the train usually has priority cars. In Indonesian education today, there are still many 'carriages' that prioritize gender stigma in the eyes of society, without seeing the individual interests and talents of Indonesia's young generation.
With an independent learning program, and an independent campus, Indonesian education should become a train without priority carriages that can bring the younger generation to their dreams, and together towards Indonesia Rise to 21st Century competence. Hopefully the work of students of the Animation Study Program, ISI Yogyakarta will obtain national achievements in LIDM 2021.
