Creative Sharing Forum with the theme "Think Creatively & Go Beyond"

November 25, 2020, JICAF (Jogja International Creative Arts Festival) presented its second series of events, the Creative Sharing Forum, with the theme of Think Creatively & Go Beyond. Still the same as the previous event, Creative Sharing Forum has a webinar concept with media Zoom Meeting The event was held live from ISI Yogyakarta's fine arts building, but there was something different about the speakers who were presented virtually from Asian countries, including Malaysia, Japan, and Thailand. The event was held smoothly for two hours with the participation of approximately 105 participants.

Heningtyas Widowati again moderated the Creative Sharing Forum today and was attended by five speakers including Dr. Timbul Raharjo, M. Hum (Dean of FSR ISI Yogyakarta), Terra Bajraghosa, M.Sn (DKV ISI Yogyakarta), Dr. Hanif Bin Khairi (University Teknologi MARA), Nanaka Adachi (Tokyo University of the Arts Japan), and Assistant Prof. Saowalak Kabilsingh (Silpakorn University Thailand).

Creative thinking is one of the main foundations in the creation of works of art. Through the theme Think Creatively & Go Beyond, this event is expected to provide inspiration from presenters who have shared their experiences related to the works created during the pandemic. The covid 19 pandemic is not an obstacle in creating works, on the contrary, pandemic conditions are an inspiration for ideas and imagination in creating works of art. Nanaka Adachi said that artists are tasked with continuing to create works, while the audience is free to understand the artist's work based on all their perspectives.

Stay tuned for the next series of JICAF events, namely the Visual Art Collaboration "Art Obviousness" on December 7, 2020, keep an eye on the FSR ISI Yogyakarta website and Instagram. See you!
