On Friday, July 3, 2020 at 09.00 - 11.00 WIB, ISI Yogyakarta held a Webinar with the theme Discussion of Independent Learning Curriculum - Independent Campus. The speaker for this webinar was Dr. Sri Suning Kusumawardani, S.T., M.T. (DIKTI Independent Campus Socialization Team) and moderated by Hangga Hardhika, S.Sn., M.Ds. (Head of UPT Education Development Center ISI Yogyakarta). The webinar was attended by the Rector, Assistant Rector 1, Assistant Rector 2, Academic Senate, Curriculum Task Force Team, and Heads of Study Programs at ISI Yogyakarta. The discussion began with a presentation from the speaker and continued with a question and answer session by webinar participants.
The Independent Campus curriculum is planned to be implemented in the 2021/2022 academic year, therefore careful preparation is needed for the success of the program. In this discussion, several things were discussed, starting from the 8 independent campus programs consisting of: student exchange, internships, humanitarian projects, research assistants, independent student projects, entrepreneurial students, and building villages. Other things discussed include the technical problem of dividing credits between courses according to the Study Program Body of Knowledge and the Independent Campus Program credits, technical problems of costs incurred by students and technical problems regarding course conversion.
The discussion was very interesting with several questions from the Heads of Study Programs and Academic Senate Members. After the implementation of the Independent Learning-Campus Curriculum Discussion Webinar, the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum instructed the ISI Yogyakarta Curriculum Task Force Team to immediately prepare a series of policy steps to prepare for the implementation of the ISI Yogyakarta Independent Campus Curriculum.
