SOP REDUCE THE RATE OF SPREAD OF THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) BY IMPLEMENTING "SOCIAL DISTANCING", "SELF ISOLATION", AND “SELF MONITORING"
Social Distancing is that people are asked to avoid attending large gatherings or crowds of people. If forced to meet other people, keep a distance of about 2 meters. ISI Yogyakarta academicians are asked to learn from home, work from home, and worship from home in accordance with the advice of the President of the Republic of Indonesia. Here are some things that need to be done to implement Social Distancing:
- There is no need for physical contact such as shaking hands or hugging;
- Postpone mass activities such as performances, exhibitions, screening, seminars, joint exercises, and so on;
- Temporarily avoid mass activities;
- Keep your distance when you meet others in the office, during meetings, and so on;
- Avoid public places/crowds.
Self Monitoring or self-surveillance needs to be carried out for ISI Yogyakarta academics if they are exposed to people who are positively infected with COVID-19 or with a history of traveling to infected countries. The following are the steps that need to be taken:
- Contact the nearest health care facility immediately;
- If symptoms appear, do Self Isolation;
- Monitor your own health for the last 14 days from last contact/exposure.
Self Isolation or acts of isolation need to be carried out for ISI Yogyakarta academics with the following steps:
- Stay at home;
- Avoid crowds;
- Avoid traveling on public transportation;
- If you have to leave the house, wear a mask;
- Keep the room well ventilated by opening the windows.
- If you experience symptoms, you need to:
- Be in a separate room from other family members;
- Keep a distance of at least 1 meter from healthy people;
- Always wear a mask;
- Implement cough and sneeze etiquette (when coughing use a tissue and then immediately throw it into a closed trash can and wash your hands).
