On November 26, 2019 at the meeting room Lt. III Rectorate ISI Yogyakarta, a visit was held in the context of exploring cooperation from the University of Tasmania Australia, especially from the School of Creative Arts and Media department.
The delegation was led by Ms. Brigita Ozolins, a Senior Lecturer, and 15 students across departments.
On this occasion, the university of Tasmania had the opportunity to present the department profile, student profile and graduate profile. According to Mrs. Brigita, in Tasmania as a small island in the south of the Australian mainland, appreciation for the work of artists is quite high, this is driven by long-standing and deep-rooted diversity.
So far, the University of Tasmania has felt a bond with Indonesia, especially Bali and Yogyakarta. It's just that so far the relationship that has been established is directly between institutions and professional artists, therefore exploring the possibility of institutional cooperation to institutions is the goal and hope of this visit.
The presentation facilitated by the International Affairs Unit of ISI Yogyakarta was attended by PD I and Kaprodi of several departments and faculties.
