Yogyakarta, June 26, 2026 \u2014 The Library Unit of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta announces the winners Library Video Creation Contest 2026<\/strong> as a form of appreciation for students' creativity in developing inspiring and innovative literacy media that is close to the academic community's lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This activity is one of the efforts by the UPA Library of ISI Yogyakarta to strengthen the library's role as a learning space, a creative space, a collaborative space, and a source of inspiration for students, lecturers, educational staff, and the wider community. Through the medium of video, students are invited to see the library not only as a place for storing library collections but also as a knowledge ecosystem that can be processed into creative works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After going through the assessment process by the jury, the UPA Library of ISI Yogyakarta has chosen Syifa Aulya Hamidha Salfa from the Theater Arts Study Program with Student ID Number 2611447014 as the First Place winner. Her work was judged to be capable of presenting creative ideas in introducing the library in an interesting and communicative way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Runner-Up position was achieved by Indra Bagus Kisworo and Dewi Kurniasari from the Craft Study Program, with student IDs 2412590022 and 2310018029 respectively. Both demonstrated collaborative abilities in processing literacy messages through a creative visual approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Third Place was awarded to Deera Isfalana from the Art Governance Study Program with Student ID Number 2210329026. Her work also demonstrated that libraries can be an important part of the academic process, knowledge management, and the development of creativity among art students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ISI Yogyakarta Library also designated two participants as Favorites: Ninda Aryanti from the Batik Craft Fashion Design Study Program with Student ID 2400304028, and Natasya Aurelia Putri from the Film and Television Production Study Program with Student ID 2500073035. This favorite category is given as a form of appreciation for works that received attention and positive responses during the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the 2026 Library Video Creation Competition, ISI Yogyakarta reaffirms its commitment as a higher education institution for the arts that continues to encourage students to develop ideas, skills, and artistic sensitivity through various media. Video, as a creative medium, is seen as playing a strategic role in conveying broader literacy messages, especially amidst the development of digital culture which is increasingly close to the younger generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This activity also shows that literacy in the art college environment is not only related to the ability to read and access information, but also includes the ability to process knowledge into valuable, communicative, and relevant works for the times. In that context, the library becomes an important space that connects knowledge, creativity, research, and artistic practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ISI Yogyakarta Library wishes to thank all participants who have taken part and showcased their best works in this competition. The participation of students from various study programs shows that the spirit of literacy can grow through interdisciplinary approaches, ranging from performing arts, crafts, art management, design, to film and television production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the winners, this achievement is expected to be a motivation to continue working, develop their potential, and spread the spirit of literacy through creative media. Meanwhile, for participants who have not yet won, the ISI Yogyakarta Library Unit invites them to remain enthusiastic, keep learning, and make this experience a part of their continuous creative process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organization of the 2026 Library Video Creation Competition also strengthens the image of ISI Yogyakarta as an art campus that is adaptive, open to innovation, and consistently encourages students to produce impactful works. Through activities like this, ISI Yogyakarta continues to build an academic space that is not only oriented towards learning but also towards the development of creativity, collaboration, and real contribution to society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
