This event will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 7:00 PM to completion, at the Old Rectorate Courtyard of ISI Yogyakarta, and is open to the public free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Embracing the spirit of togetherness, art appreciation, and expanding public access to film works, Layar Tancap \u201cSewonderland\u201d becomes a meeting space between campuses, artists, academics, students, and the community. This program presents a number of short films by academics and artists within the ISI Yogyakarta environment, representing the power of creation, research, visual exploration, and social sensitivity through the medium of film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This activity also strengthens ISI Yogyakarta's position as an art higher education institution that not only focuses on the educational process in the classroom but also actively presents art to the public space. Through the drive-in movie format, ISI Yogyakarta revives the tradition of watching together as a cultural experience that is close to the community, while also building an inclusive, warm, and participatory film appreciation ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this screening, a number of short film works will be shown, including \u201cKediaman\u201d by Riza Pahlevi, \u201cPesona Banyuwangi\u201d by Pandan Pareanom, I Wayan Nain Febri, Zahrina Zatadhini, and Heri Nugroho, and \u201cKehidupan di Atas Kehidupan\u201d by Zainadin Zakaria. In addition, \u201cBunga-bunga di Jalan Ikan\u201d by Cinta Setia, \u201cAyam Kuclok: Kebanggaan Peternak Ayam Kampung di Indonesia\u201d by M. Arifian Rohman, \u201cDJUM\u201d by Brilian Maulana, and \u201cUnspoken Tales\u201d by Dzaki Muhammad Naufal with M. Insani Ilham Alfarin will also be screened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The film series showcases a diversity of approaches in short filmmaking, ranging from explorations of social themes, culture, daily life, local identity, to humanistic narratives. This diversity reflects the strength of the Faculty of Creative Media ISI Yogyakarta in developing art education based on creativity, sensitivity, and the ability to read the changes of the times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u201cSewonderland\u201d outdoor screening is also part of the great spirit of ISI Yogyakarta's 42nd Anniversary with the theme \u201cRedefining Arts Impact: Art, Humanity, and Creativity in the Era of Artificial Intelligence.\u201d Through this activity, ISI Yogyakarta demonstrates that art continues to play an important role in building human connection, expanding imagination, and providing a space for shared reflection amidst technological advancements and social changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to being a film appreciation agenda, this activity also serves as ISI Yogyakarta's contribution to expanding visual literacy and cinema culture to the public. By presenting short films openly and free of charge, the campus opens up space for the public to enjoy, understand, and appreciate the creative process born from an academic artistic environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u201cSewonderland\u201d drive-in cinema event is supported by a collaborative spirit within the art and education ecosystem, including the involvement of the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design at ISI Yogyakarta, Asia Pacific Art Forum, Project Eleven, and support from the Diktisaintek Berdampak movement. This collaboration demonstrates ISI Yogyakarta's commitment to building creative networks capable of fostering the creation of relevant, communicative, and impactful artworks for the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this activity, ISI Yogyakarta reasserts its role as a center for education, creation, and development of art rooted in cultural strength while remaining open to global developments. The \u201cSewonderland\u201d Screenings are expected to be an appreciation space that brings together works, ideas, and the public in a familiar, educational, and inspiring atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The general public, the academic community, students, pupils, film communities, and art lovers can attend and watch this short film screening for free.
