Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia \u2014 The Rector of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi, S.Sn., M.Sn., participated in the XVII International Economic Forum \u201cRussia\u2013Islamic World: KazanForum\u201d 2026, held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rector of ISI Yogyakarta's participation took place in a cultural session titled \u201cInternational Cultural Partnerships: from Educational Programs to Joint Creative Projects\u201d on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, held at Kazan Expo IEC, Cluster A, Hall 10, 2nd floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This session is organized by the Kazan State Institute of Culture (KazGIK) and serves as a space for dialogue among leaders of arts universities, cultural officials, academics, and representatives of cultural institutions from various countries. The forum discusses the strengthening of international cultural partnerships, ranging from the development of educational programs to opportunities for creating collaborative cross-border creative projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the forum, Dr. Irwandi was present as one of the speakers along with several international figures, including representatives from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Rector of Kazan State Institute of Culture, and leaders and academics from arts and cultural institutions in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Niger, Senegal, and Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
