The ISI Yogyakarta delegation was led by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni, and during the agenda, the delegation was also received by the Rector of HUFA, István Erőss.

This participation is a strategic step for ISI Yogyakarta in expanding its international partnership network within the global world of art higher education. Based on the official program of activities, the International Staff Week at HUFA features a series of academic and institutional agendas, ranging from campus tours, partner university presentations, visits to exhibition spaces and academic units, to international networking sessions that bring together various art institutions from several countries.

At the forum, ISI Yogyakarta is scheduled to present at the partner university presentation session on Thursday, April 23, 2026, with Muhammad Kholid Arif Rozaq, Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Collaboration, and Petrus Gogor Bangsa, Head of the International Affairs Unit, as presenters. ISI Yogyakarta's presence is alongside various art universities and other partner institutions from India, Nigeria, the United States, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Italy, Albania, and Japan.

ISI Yogyakarta's participation in this forum signifies the institution's strengthening position in the global conversation on art education, the development of academic collaborations, and the exchange of best practices among universities. In the context of higher education internationalization, ISI Yogyakarta's presence on such a stage is not merely a symbolic representation, but also a tangible form of efforts to expand opportunities for cooperation, faculty and student mobility, knowledge exchange, and the development of joint programs in the fields of art and culture.

Furthermore, the meeting with HUFA's leadership and active involvement in the official agenda of International Staff Week demonstrate that ISI Yogyakarta is increasingly recognized as a strategic partner in the international higher education of arts. This also strengthens ISI Yogyakarta's image as an open, adaptive, and globally competitive art campus, while remaining grounded in the strengths of Indonesian arts, culture, and creativity.

This forum is also designed as a space for intensive interaction among partners, including institutional visits, academic presentations, and networking sessions at the closing of the event. This series of activities provides concrete opportunities for ISI Yogyakarta to deepen institutional communication and explore broader future cooperation follow-ups.

Through participation in the HUFA 2026 International Staff Week, ISI Yogyakarta once again demonstrates its commitment to actively engaging in the international network of art universities. This step aligns with the vision of strengthening institutional reputation, enhancing the quality of global collaboration, and striving to position ISI Yogyakarta as a key hub for Indonesian art education on a global scale.

Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni of ISI Yogyakarta (Dr. Muhammad Kholid Arif Rozaq, s.Hut., M.M.) and Rector of HUFA (István Erőss)

Yogyakarta, 22 April 2026 — Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta kembali meneguhkan kiprahnya sebagai perguruan tinggi seni Indonesia yang aktif di tingkat internasional melalui partisipasi dalam 3rd International Staff Week at Hungarian University of Fine Arts (HUFA), Budapest, Hungaria, yang berlangsung pada 20–24 April 2026.
