Yogyakarta, March 2, 2026 - Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta reaffirmed its position as the leading art university in Indonesia through a strategic collaboration between the S-1 Art Management Study Program, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD), with Helutrans ArtMove in the event of Manage Art Talk (KAT) #38<\/em> titled \u201cArtMove for Art Fair & Museum\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activity, which took place at the Ajiyasa Building FSR ISI Yogyakarta, presented professional practitioners from Helutrans ArtMove to share comprehensive insights on logistics management of artworks, starting from art handling<\/em>, From shipping procedures for international exhibitions, to operational standards at global museums and art fairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Head of the S-1 Art Management Study Program emphasized that this forum is part of ISI Yogyakarta's academic commitment in bridging theoretical learning with industrial practice. \u201cStudents not only understand the curatorial and managerial aspects of art, but also its supporting ecosystem, including the governance of distribution and security of works. This is an important competency in the contemporary art industry,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the panel discussion session, Helutrans ArtMove practitioners explained the professional standards of art handling applied in various international exhibitions, including procedures for installation, packing, unpacking, and risk mitigation during the cross-border shipping process. The standards emphasize technical precision, material safety, and protection of the artistic and historical value of the works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the series of activities, students also participated in Art Handling Workshop<\/em> specifically designed to provide hands-on experience. This workshop introduces professional working procedures that have become a reference in the movement of works in museums, galleries, and international art fairs. Through a practice-based approach, students are trained to understand technical details as well as professional ethics in maintaining the authenticity and integrity of artworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration reflects ISI Yogyakarta's global orientation in preparing graduates who are adaptive to the dynamics of the international creative industry.
