Banggai, December 19, 2025 - Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta emphasizes the strategic role of art and culture in sustainable development through the Cultural Harmony for Energy agenda, a collaboration with Pertamina, JOB Tomori, SKK Migas, and the Banggai Regency Government. This activity is a cross-sector dialog space that connects creativity, the energy industry, and local wisdom-based regional governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cultural Harmony activity presented two speakers from ISI Yogyakarta, namely Dr. Suwarno Wisetrotomo, S.Pd., M.Pd. (Lecturer of Master of Art Creation and Assessment) and Dr. Petrus Gogor Bangsa, M.Sn. (Lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design) Both presented academic perspectives on the role of art, culture and local identity as a strategic force in supporting the energy sector and social development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In their presentation, the speakers emphasized that art and culture not only function as aesthetic expressions, but also as a medium for social dialogue, strengthening local identity, and bridging the interests of industry and society. This synergy is considered capable of creating real sustainable impacts, especially in the context of regional management and community empowerment in energy-producing areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration between ISI Yogyakarta and Pertamina, JOB Tomori, SKK Migas, and the Banggai Regency Government reflects a shared commitment to integrating a cultural approach into the regional development agenda. Through this approach, development is not only oriented towards economic aspects, but also pays attention to social and cultural dimensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this agenda, ISI Yogyakarta continues to strengthen its position as an impactful arts campus, playing an active role in building harmony between academia, industry and local government. This cross-sector collaboration also strengthens ISI Yogyakarta's contribution in presenting creative solutions based on arts and culture for national development challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
