Yogyakarta, October 14, 2025 - Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta received a visit from the Yogyakarta Special Region Cultural Office (Kundha Kabudayan) in the context of signing the Work Plan Document between the two institutions, located in the VIP Room on the 2nd Floor of the ISI Yogyakarta Rectorate Building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting was attended by the Head of the DIY Culture Office, Mrs. Dian Lakshmi Pratiwi, accompanied by Rully Andriadi (Head of Planning and Monitoring Evaluation), D.W. Naraswari (Head of Planning Section), and Farida Ariyani M.J. (Planning Staff). From ISI Yogyakarta, the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi, S.Sn., M.Sn., along with the vice rectors and deans were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, Mrs. Dian Lakshmi Pratiwi said that the DIY Culture Office has a number of programs and work plans that have strong intersections with fields at ISI Yogyakarta, especially in the three main pillars of the Tridharma of Higher Education: education and teaching, research, and community service. She emphasized the importance of synergy between art education institutions and local governments in encouraging the preservation and development of local culture that is adaptive to the challenges of the times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi, S.Sn., M.Sn., in his speech expressed his appreciation for the cooperation that has been established, both institutionally and through various collaborative activities involving lecturers, students, and alumni of ISI Yogyakarta with the Yogyakarta Cultural Office. \"ISI Yogyakarta is always ready to support the empowerment of regional arts and culture. In the future, we hope to obtain information from the Culture Office regarding the needs and focus of the research field, so that at the beginning of next year ISI Yogyakarta can contribute to the preparation of research programs that are relevant to cultural issues in DIY,\" said the Rector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main event was marked by the signing of the Work Plan Document between ISI Yogyakarta and the DIY Cultural Office as a form of joint commitment to strengthen strategic collaboration in the field of arts and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the signing of this document, it is hoped that the cooperation between ISI Yogyakarta and the DIY Cultural Office will be more focused, measurable, and sustainable, and will be able to produce real programs that have a positive impact on the development of the cultural ecosystem in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
