His work entitled \"The Last Dance with Jane Doe\" was selected as one of the exponents in an international student art exhibition entitled The 1st HNU International Student Art Exhibition, organized by Hainan University in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This success story began when hundreds of works from students from various countries were submitted for selection at the exhibition. Sigit, listed in the catalog as Sigurd Suceno, managed to set aside works from more than 30 universities, galleries, and photography institutions in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The organizing committee conducts curation by involving a professional jury consisting of presidents of photography associations, artistic directors of global photography festivals, as well as academics and photography practitioners across countries, to maintain fair and credible judging standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selection of The Last Dance with Jane Doe is not only a personal recognition for Sigit, but also a signal that art education in Indonesia - especially photography at ISI Yogyakarta - is able to compete on the world stage. They see Sigit's success as evidence of the institution's continued commitment to developing young artists who are not only creative, but also have global competitiveness.
