ISI Yogyakarta held an Open Senate Session on August 19, 2025, at the ISI Yogyakarta Art Laboratory. The Senate Session was attended by the ISI Yogyakarta Senate, Officials in the ISI Yogyakarta environment, the 2025 PKKMB Committee and new 2025\/2026 academic students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The open Senate session is a ceremonial held in order to welcome new ISI Yogyakarta students. In the open Senate Session in order to welcome new ISI Yogyakarta students, there are several important agendas, namely the submission of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Planning reports related to the admission of new students for the 2025\/2026 academic year, wearing alma mater jackets and handing over student identification cards, reading the ISI Yogyakarta student pledge and listening to the Rector's Speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta recorded high interest in the admission of new students for the 2025\/2026 academic year with a total of 11,341 applicants.ar <\/strong>through SNBP, SNBT, and Independent pathways, as well as the Postgraduate program, said Dr. Dewanto Sukistono, M.Sn. in his report. \"Of these, 1,956 prospective students were accepted and 1,829 officially registered, consisting of D4, S1, S2, and S3 levels spread across three faculties and postgraduate programs,\" he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. in his speech congratulated the new students for their achievement in being accepted as ISI Yogyakarta students. \"An extraordinary achievement, you were chosen to attend the Open Senate Session this morning, after successfully eliminating 9385 applicants to become ISI Yogyakarta students, for that I advise you to be grateful for this achievement by studying seriously\" he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After participating in the Open Senate Session procession, new students attended a lecture with the theme \"The Role of Networking and Connectivity in Realizing ISI Yogyakarta as a World Class University\" which will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Drs., Nur Sahid, M.Hum. Tomorrow students will follow the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKBM) 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
