House of Piano and Steinway Indonesia collaborate with ISI Yogyakarta to organize a live concert of Miyuji Kaneko at ISI Yogyakarta Concert Hall on June 30, 2025, at 19.00 until completion. This concert is a series of special events as part of the inauguration of two Steinway & Sons grand piano model C units that have just been owned by the campus as well as celebrating ISI's 41st Anniversary. This concert was witnessed by the Chancellor of ISI Yogyakarta and the general public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miyuji Kaneko is a Japanese-Hungarian Steinway Artist, known for his expressive interpretations and stunning technique. Born in Japan in 1989, Miyuji has been playing the piano since the age of six in Hungary. He received his formal education at Franz Liszt Academy and later earned a Master of Musical Arts degree from Tokyo College of Music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tonight's concert featured not only Miyuji Kaneko, but also a number of Indonesia's best young musicians and lecturers. Elnino Mevlana Ibrahim, winner of the Indonesia Steinway Youth Piano Competition 2025, was the opening act. Meanwhile, Asep Hidayat, a lecturer in ISI Yogyakarta's Music Presentation Department, performed a duet with Miyuji on R. Schumann's Fantasiest\u00fccke and Ismail Marzuki's Wanita, which had been arranged by Joko Suprayitno, ISI Yogyakarta's Music Creation lecturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his solo performance, Miyuji Kaneko performed works by the world's great composers such as B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Chopin, and Franz Liszt, giving the audience an immersive musical experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event is an important marker in ISI Yogyakarta's commitment to continue to develop the quality of music education, expand international networks, and present world-class art experiences for the academic community and the wider community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
