Yogyakarta, November 29, 2024<\/strong> - The Photography Study Program, Faculty of Recording Media Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta, has just held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Workshop with the theme \"Strengthening Problem-Solving and Project-Based Curriculum in the Implementation of MBKM Entrepreneurial Simulation Implementation. Case Method<\/em>\". The event, which took place on Friday, aimed to provide deeper insights for lecturers regarding the application of learning methods. Case Method<\/em> in the teaching process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Case Method<\/em> is a learning method based on discussion and active participation in analyzing and solving real problems. This method is believed to hone students' critical thinking skills, communication skills, collaboration, and creativity. In the Photography Study Program, the application of Case Method<\/em> It is expected to be more effective given the number of applicative courses presented in the curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dean of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Edial Rusli, SE, M.Sn, welcomed the event. \"I am very proud of the organization of this workshop. This activity opens up opportunities for lecturers to share knowledge and experience, as well as produce Semester Learning Plans (RPS) based on the method of teaching and learning,\" he said. The speaker in this activity, Dr. Jumadi, SE, MM, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Widya Mataram University, explained that Case Method<\/em> is a learning system that uses case studies as a tool to encourage active analysis and discussion. These in-group discussions will support the implementation of the curriculum Outcome-Based Education<\/em> (OBE) which emphasizes the desired outcome in the learning process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
