The Performing Arts Education Study Program (Prodi), Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta celebrated 10 years or 1 decade of its age by organizing various activities. The celebration began on August 30 to September 1, 2024, at the Concert Hall ISI Yogyakarta. Activities organized in order to enliven the celebration of the 1st decade of the Performing Arts Education Study Program include national seminars, workshops, art performances and collaborative performances.<\/p>\n

On the first day, August 30, 2024, a national seminar was held with the title \"The Role of Teachers in Applying Pancasila Values through Performing Arts\" on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Concert Hall of the Yogyakarta Institute of Arts. This national seminar will discuss about the transformation of Cultural Arts teachers, the introduction of learning media, and creative educators. This seminar was held to discuss current issues. The seminar presented two speakers Prof. Dr. Kuswarsantyo, M.Hum. (Professor of Dance Education Study Program, Yogyakarta State University) and Drs. Susilo Nugroho (Theater Artist, Director and Retired Teacher).<\/p>\n

On the second day, August 31, a workshop and art performance were held. Sarasehan in a series of One Decade of Performing Arts Education events, is a forum for alumni and active students of Performing Arts Education to exchange stories about changes in the Study Program, from Sendratasik to Performing Arts Education. Through sarasehan activities, it is hoped that alumni and active students of Performing Arts Education can add new insights and experiences. Through this activity, it is also expected to be able to strengthen the kinship between alumni and active students of Performing Arts Education. Meanwhile, the Art show is a forum for active students of Performing Arts Education to channel their interests and talents in the field of art. Through this art performance activity, it is hoped that active students of the Art Education Study Program will present their works to lecturers, alumni and the community.<\/p>\n

On the last day of the 1st Decade of Performing Arts Education celebration, August 1, 2024, a collaboration performance was held. The performance will present a collaborative work of lecturers, alumni, and active students of the Performing Arts Education Study Program. Through this performance, it is hoped that it will strengthen the relationship between lecturers, alumni, and active students of the Performing Arts Education Study Program. Through this activity, it also provides experience and can exchange insights with one another, and can develop the potential that has been owned.<\/p>\n

The theme of the event was \"Transformation of Integrative, Creative, and Innovative Art Education based on Pancasila\". The selection of this theme intends to integrate several things related to the vision and mission of the Performing Arts Education Study Program, especially in the field of education. Through several changes that are seen to occur in the curriculum in 2021, about matters relating to an educator.<\/p>\n
