Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta organizes launching<\/i><\/em>\u00a0a book entitled \"Wayang Topeng Pedhalangan Yogyakarta Another Trail of the Development of Mask Performing Arts in Java\", on Monday, September 13, 2021 and took place at the Public Lecture Building FSP ISI Yogyakarta. Lauching<\/i><\/em>\u00a0The book is organized offline with strict health protocols in place.<\/p>\n

Books that are launching<\/i><\/em>\u00a0on this occasion is a book by one of the lecturers of the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Sumaryono. The author of this book is one of the figures who has great attention to wayang topeng, dance and performing arts of Yogyakarta style. The books that the author has produced and publications in journals related to the subject of wayang topeng, dance and performing arts of the Yogyakarta style are proof of the author's competence and great attention to the subject.<\/p>\n

The presence of a book entitled \"Wayang Topeng Pedhalangan Yogyakarta Another Trail of the Development of Mask Performing Arts in Java\" adds to the treasury of sources of information or references related to mask puppets and Yogyakarta-style performing arts. This book is a breath of fresh air for researchers and academics amid the lack of publications on the topic of wayang topeng and Yogyakarta-style performing arts. Researchers and academics will be facilitated in preparing further studies on mask puppets and Yogyakarta-style performing arts.<\/p>\n

Launching<\/i><\/em>\u00a0The book was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta, Siswandi, M.Sn. The event continued with the main program, namely launching<\/i><\/em> The book was presented by Prof.Dr.Y.Sumandiyo Hadi as the speaker and moderator Drs. Subawa, M.Sn. The book launching was also attended by Dra. Heni Winahyuningsih, M.Hum (Assistant Dean I), Chess Wibono, S.Sn, M.Sn, (Assistant Dean II), Dr. Rina Martiara (Head of the ISI Yogyakarta Dance Department), Dra.Veronica Retnaningsih (Taman Budaya Yogyakarta), all lecturers in the ISI Yogyakarta Dance Department and Heads of Study Programs in the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta. By\u00a0launching<\/i><\/em>\u00a0This book is expected to motivate other lecturers to produce books in the field of performing arts and related subjects.<\/p>\n
